No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Agriculture Code and the Government Code relating to various reporting requirements at the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA). The bill would eliminate certain reports TDA currently is required to submit to the Legislature and the Governor. No significant fiscal impact to the state is anticipated. The bill would take effect immediately if it receives a vote of two-thirds of all members elected to each house; otherwise it would take effect September 1, 2013.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
