No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require district improvement plans to include strategies for providing information about the district's dating violence and bully prevention policies and carrying out elements of the dating violence policy at each middle school, junior high school, and high school in the district. The bill would require districts to implement a dating violence policy at each middle school, junior high school, and high school.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated. School districts are currently required to include a dating violence policy in district improvement plans. The bill clarifies that information and implementation of the dating violence policy and the bully prevention policy would be provided at middle, junior high, and high schools in the district.
