No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would alter the eligibility requirements to be a candidate or serve as a county or precinct chair for a party nominating by convention. The bill would also alter certain rules regarding alternate convention delegates and changes the date of the statewide convention for parties that nominate by convention.
