SB885 by Hinojosa (Relating to notice of utility rate increases.), As Engrossed

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would make changes to notice requirements relating to proposed gas utility rate increases. It would add e-mail notice to each directly affected customer, if the customer consents in writing to the use of e-mail for that purpose, as a notification option.

Passage of the bill is not expected to have a significant fiscal impact on the Railroad Commission.


Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
