The bill would amend Chapter 253 of the Local Government Code to authorize a municipality to sell or lease a public square or park for a world exposition recognized by the Bureau of International des Expositions; and would establish requirements regarding hotel improvements to be constructed on property that was sold or leased as defined by the provisions of the bill.
