No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Civil Practice and Remedies Code to adopt the Uniform Trade Secrets Act. The bill specifies procedural requirements and available relief and damages for actions brought under the Act. The Office of Court Administration does not anticipate any significant fiscal impact to the court system. The bill would take effect September 1, 2013.
