No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Occupations Code relating to the regulation of barbering and cosmetology.

Based on information provided by the Department of Licensing and Regulation and the Texas Education Agency, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished utilizing existing resources.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
