No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend sections of the Government Code pertaining to meetings of governmental bodies held by video conference call. The bill would require the member of the governmental body presiding over the meeting to be physically present at one location of the meeting that is open to the public during the open portions of the meeting.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
