SB1070 by Hegar (Relating to beef marketing, education, research, and promotion of the Texas Beef Council.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Agriculture Code relating to the Texas Beef Council. The bill would allow the Beef Council to establish a beef check off program and would allow various cattle associations to appoint their own representatives to the Beef Council  No significant fiscal impact to the state is anticipated.

The bill would take effect September 1, 2013.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
