IN RE:	SB1070 by Hegar (Relating to the membership of and the beef marketing, education, research, and promotion programs of the Texas Beef Council.), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Agriculture Code relating to the Texas Beef Council. The bill would rename the Council the Beef Promotion and Research Council of Texas. Additionally, the bill would allow the Council to establish a beef check off program. No significant fiscal impact to the state is anticipated.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
