SB1096 by Hinojosa (Relating to the monthly fee a defendant must pay during a period of community supervision.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

This bill would bar a judge from requiring a defendant to pay a fee issued under Subsection 42.12(a), Code of Criminal Procedure, for any month after the period of community supervision has been terminated. 

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
