No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would repeal Water Code, Section 13.145 (b), which exempts a public utility provider that served only 24 counties on January 1, 2003, from the requirements of Water Code, Section 145 as they pertain to the consolidation of multiple water/sewer systems under one tariff when specific conditions are met.

No significant fiscal implications to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality is expected as a result of the bill's passage.
