No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend Chapter 36 of the Water Code to provide that a groundwater conservation district is not required to adopt a proposal of desired future conditions before May 1, 2016, regardless of the date on which a proposal may have been voted on before May 1, 2016.
According to the Texas State Soil and Water Conservation Board, no fiscal impact is anticipated.
