No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Insurance Code relating to the provision of ancillary services through limited services networks and providing for penalties.  Based on information provided by the Texas Department of Insurance, the bill would increase the number of reviews for network adequacy the agency would have to complete; however, it is assumed that any costs associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished within existing staff and resources.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
