No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Labor Code relating to the provision of durable medical equipment and home health care services through informal and voluntary networks in the workers' compensation system and providing penalties.  Based on information provided by the Texas Department of Insurance and the State Office of Risk Management, it is assumed that any costs associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished within existing staff and resources.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
