FISCAL NOTE, 83RD LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION

March 22, 2013

TO:
Honorable Royce West, Chair, Senate Committee on Jurisprudence

FROM:
Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board

IN RE:
SB1328 by Paxton (Relating to the authority of a statutory probate court in Collin County to hear and determine certain matters pending in a district or statutory county court.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Government Code to allow a statutory probate judge in Collin County to have similar authorization regarding hearing and determining matters pending in a district or statutory county court in Collin County.

Local Government Impact

Because the bill would not have statewide impact on units of local government of the same type or class, no comment from this office is required by the rules of the House/Senate as to its probable fiscal implication on units of local government.
