No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Natural Resources Code to authorize a person who owns property that borders the line of mean high tide or mean higher high tide establishing the boundary of state-owned submerged land may grant an easement to the state, a county, or a municipality to construct and maintain a dune project as defined by the provisions. The bill would establish requirements regarding a dune project easement and would require a recordable release if an easement is terminated.
The General Land Office (GLO) indicated no fiscal implication to the GLO is anticipated.
