SB1640 by Deuell (Relating to the allocation of enterprise project designations during a biennium.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

This bill would amend the Government Code to allow the Texas Economic Development Bank to allocate the total number of enterprise project designations available in a biennium evenly over an annual or semiannual period.
 
The Office of the Governor and the Comptroller of Public Accounts indicate the provisions of the bill could be implemented within existing resources.
 
The bill would take effect on September 1, 2013.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
