No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Occupations Code relating to continuing medical education for physicians prescribing controlled substances.  Based on the information provided by the Texas Medical Board and the Department of Public Safety, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
