No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend Chapter 42 of the Human Resources Code, relating to certain exemptions to initial training requirements for employees, directors, and operators of a child-care facility. The bill would take effect immediately with a two-thirds vote of each house; otherwise the bill would take effect September 1, 2013. The Department of Family and Protective Services indicates the provisions of the bill could be implemented within existing resources.
