No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend provisions in Transportation Code relating to specialty license plates issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) for state officials and relating to the State Capitol. The bill would authorize the DMV to design specialty license plates relating to the State Capitol in consultation with the State Preservation Board.

Based on the information provided by the DMV, it is assumed any costs or duties associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within existing resources.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
