IN RE:
HB2127 by Howard (Relating to the eligibility of certain employees of public institutions of higher education to participate in a state group benefits program. ), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted


CSHB 2127 would amend the Insurance Code by changing certain adjunct faculty members' eligibility requirements to participate as an employee in the group benefits program run by the Employees Retirement System.

 

The bill, if enacted, will not have an actuarial effect on any public retirement system because it does not propose to change their benefit structure, funding or obligations.
