HB 2444 would amend the Government Code, Section 552.0038(h) by eliminating the discretionary authority of public retirement systems to determine whether a record is subject to the public information requirements as applicable to public retirement systems.
The bill, if enacted, will have no significant actuarial effect because it does not propose to change the benefit structure, funding or obligations of any public retirement system.
