SB457 by Rodríguez (Relating to the confidentiality of certain autopsy records.), As Introduced

Upon further analysis, as a result of this bill there will be no restriction upon the open records law and access to government information.


Under the exception already provided under current law, the bill would allow a governmental body to withhold a photograph or x-ray under Subsection 11(a), Code of Criminal Procedure, without requesting a decision from the attorney general.
