Pursuant to a notice posted on February 20, 2013, the House Committee on International Trade & Intergovernmental Affairs met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Anchia, at 10:06 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Anchia; Lozano; Capriglione; Creighton; Nevárez; Perez; and Strama.

 

A quorum was present.

 

 

The chair named Representative Perez to chair the subcommittee on Maritime Ports and will appoint members at a later date.

 

The chair named Representative Capriglione to chair the subcommittee on Airports and will appoint members at a later date.

 

The chair named Representative Nevárez to chair the subcommittee on International Bridges and Border Crossings and will appoint members at a later date.

 

The chair opened discussion on the posted agenda of an organizational hearing with invited testimony on international trade and intergovernmental affairs.

At 12:25 p.m., on the motion of Representative Perez and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
