Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 15, 2013, the House Committee on International Trade & Intergovernmental Affairs met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Anchia, at 12:43 p.m.

The chair laid out SB 1551.
The chair recognized Representative Martinez, "Mando" to explain SB 1551.

The chair recognized Representative Martinez, "Mando" to close on SB 1551.
Representative Lozano moved that SB 1551, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and Consent Calendars. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
Ayes: Representatives Anchia; Lozano; Nevárez; Perez; Strama (5).
Nays: None (0).
Present, Not Voting: None (0).
Absent: Representatives Capriglione; Creighton (2).

The chair laid out SB 1599, the companion to HB 1650.
Representative Nevárez offered a complete committee substitute.
The committee substitute was adopted without objection.
Representative Nevárez moved that SB 1599, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and Consent Calendars. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
