Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on April 17, 2013, and permission granted on April 17, 2013, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Business & Industry met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the acting chair, Representative Dwayne Bohac, at 3:20 p.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Bohac; Orr; Villalba; and Walle.

A quorum was present.

HB 1424

Representative Walle moved to reconsider the vote by which the measure was reported from committee.  The motion to reconsider prevailed without objection.

The chair offered a complete committee substitute.

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

Representative Walle moved that HB 1424, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

Representative Walle moved to reconsider the vote by which the measure was reported from committee.  The motion to reconsider prevailed without objection.
