Pursuant to a notice posted on March 7, 2013, and permission granted on March 13, 2013 to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Corrections met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Parker, at 2:05 p.m.
The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Parker; White; Allen; Rose; Sheffield, J. D.; and Toth.
A quorum was present.
HB 431
The chair laid out HB 431 as pending business.
Representative Parker offered a complete committee substitute.
The committee substitute was adopted without objection.
Representative Toth moved that HB 431, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
