Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on March 20, 2013, and permission granted on March 20, 2013, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Criminal Jurisprudence met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Herrero, at 5:29 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Herrero; Burnam; Canales; Hughes; Leach; Moody; Schaefer; and Toth.

 

A quorum was present.

 


 

HB 1192

 

The chair moved to reconsider the vote by which the measure was reported from committee. 

 

The motion to reconsider prevailed without objection.

 

The chair laid out HB 1192.

 

Representative Moody offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

 

Representative Moody moved that HB 1192, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. 

The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

The chair moved to reconsider the vote by which HB 1192 as substituted was reported from committee. 

 

The motion to reconsider prevailed without objection.

 

Representative Moody moved that HB 1192, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                           Representatives Herrero; Carter; Burnam; Canales; Hughes; Leach; Moody; Schaefer; Toth (9).

 

Nays:                           None (0).

 

Present, Not Voting:   None (0).

 

Absent:                        None (0).
