Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on April 30, 2013, the House Committee on Elections met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Morrison, at 2:21 p.m.
The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Morrison; Miles; Johnson; Klick; Miller, Rick; Simmons; and Wu.
A quorum was present.

The chair laid out HB 313 as pending business.
The chair offered a complete committee substitute.
The committee substitute was adopted without objection.
Representative Wu moved that HB 313, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
Ayes: Representatives Morrison; Miles; Johnson; Wu (4).
Nays: Representatives Klick; Miller, Rick; Simmons (3).

Absent: None (0).
HB 2211
The chair laid out HB 2211 as pending business.
The chair offered a complete committee substitute.
The committee substitute was adopted without objection.
Representative Miller, Rick moved that HB 2211, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and Consent Calendars. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
Ayes: Representatives Morrison; Miles; Johnson; Klick; Miller, Rick; Simmons; Wu (7).
Nays: None (0).
Present, Not Voting: None (0).
Absent: None (0).
The chair directed that the March 11, 2013 minutes for the House Committee on Elections be corrected. The corrected minutes were authorized without objection.
At 2:26 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
