Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 6, 2013, the House Committee on Federalism & Fiscal Responsibility, Select met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Creighton, at 7:53 p.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Creighton; Burkett; Lucio III; Turner, Scott; and Walle.

A quorum was present.

HB 1379

The chair laid out HB 1379 as pending business.

Representative Turner, Scott offered a complete committee substitute.

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

Representative Burkett moved that HB 1379, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

Ayes:                           Representatives Creighton; Burkett; Turner, Scott (3).

Nays:                           Representatives Lucio III; Walle (2).

Present, Not Voting:   None (0).

Absent:                        None (0).

HB 3785

The chair laid out HB 3785 as pending business.

Representative Turner, Scott moved that HB 3785, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

Ayes:                           Representatives Creighton; Burkett; Turner, Scott (3).

Nays:                           Representatives Lucio III; Walle (2).

Present, Not Voting:   None (0).

Absent:                        None (0).

At 7:55 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
