Pursuant to a notice posted on April 29, 2013, the House Committee on Government Efficiency & Reform met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Harper-Brown, at 11:30 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Harper-Brown; Perry; Stephenson; Taylor, Van; and Turner, Scott.

 

A quorum was present.

 


 

HB 595

 

The chair laid out HB 595.

 

The chair offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The committee substitute was withdrawn without objection.

 

HB 595 was left pending without objection.

 

HB 87

 

The chair laid out HB 87.

 

The chair offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

 

The chair moved that HB 87, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                           Representatives Harper-Brown; Perry; Capriglione; Stephenson; Taylor, Van; Turner, Scott (6).

 

Nays:                           None (0).

 

Present, Not Voting:   None (0).

 

Absent:                        Representative Vo (1).

The chair laid out HB 2336.

 

The chair moved that HB 2336, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

The chair directed that the April 8, 2013 minutes for the House Committee on Government Efficiency & Reform be corrected. The corrected minutes were authorized without objection.

The chair offered a complete committee substitute.
