Pursuant to a notice posted on May 15, 2013, the House Committee on Government Efficiency & Reform met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Harper-Brown, at 9:24 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Harper-Brown; Perry; Capriglione; Stephenson; and Turner, Scott.

 

A quorum was present.

 


 

SB 1297

 

The chair laid out SB 1297 as pending business.

 

The chair moved that SB 1297, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and Consent Calendars.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
