Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 14, 2013, and permission granted on May 14, 2013, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Higher Education met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Branch, at 2:57 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Branch; Patrick, Diane; Alonzo; Clardy; Howard; Murphy; and Raney.

The chair moved to reconsider the vote by which the measure was reported from committee.  The motion to reconsider prevailed without objection.
