Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on August 5, 2013, and permission granted on August 5, 2013, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on House Administration met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Geren, at 5:00 p.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Geren; Howard; Allen; Alonzo; Frullo; Gooden; King, Susan; Kuempel; Raney; and Vo.

A quorum was present.

Representative Kuempel moved to adopt committee budgets for the remainder of the calendar year and to adopt fiscal year 2014 department budgets.  Representative Frullo seconded.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

Ayes:                           Representatives Geren; Howard; Allen; Alonzo; Frullo; Gooden; King, Susan; Kuempel; Raney; Vo (10).

Nays:                           None (0).

Present, Not Voting:   None (0).

Absent:                        Representative Márquez (1).

At 5:03 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
