Pursuant to a notice posted on May 14, 2014, revised on May 21, 2014, the House Committee on Human Services met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Raymond, at 9:12 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Raymond; Klick; Rose; and Zerwas.

 

 

The committee met to hear testimony on Interim Charge One: Examine crisis resources for individuals with co-occurring mental illness and intellectual/developmental disabilities. Identify strategies to serve individuals with complex behavioral and medical needs in the community.

The committee also heard an HHSC executive update on the STAR+PLUS managed care expansion/transition.
