Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on April 24, 2013, the House Committee on Judiciary & Civil Jurisprudence met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Lewis, at 5:00 p.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Lewis; Farrar; Farney; Hernandez Luna; Hunter; King, Ken; and Thompson, Senfronia.

The chair moved to reconsider all votes by which the measure was reported from committee.  The motion to reconsider prevailed without objection.

Representative Farrar offered a complete committee substitute.

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

Representative Hernandez Luna moved that HB 2080, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and Consent Calendars.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
