Pursuant to a notice posted on February 7, 2013, and permission granted on February 12, 2013, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Public Education met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Aycock, at 2:01 p.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Aycock; Allen; Davis, John; Deshotel; Dutton; Farney; Huberty; King, Ken; Ratliff; and Rodriguez, Justin.

A quorum was present.

At 6:06 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
