Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on June 20, 2013, and permission granted on June 20, 2013, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Rules & Resolutions met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the acting chair, Representative Jason Isaac, at 2:35 p.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Isaac; Farias; Lozano; Perez; Raymond; and Sheffield, J. D..

A quorum was present.
