Pursuant to a notice posted on April 11, 2013, the House Committee on Transparency in State Agency Operations, Select met in a public hearing and was called to order by the co-chair, Representative Carol Alvarado, at 1:25 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Alvarado; Flynn; Johnson; Martinez Fischer; Perry; and Price.

 

A quorum was present.

 

 

Representative Alvarado opened the hearing and stated its purpose: to review the state’s policies and practices on contracting and on public-private partnerships.

At 4:28 p.m., on the motion of Representative Flynn and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
