Pursuant to a notice posted on October 14, 2013, the House Committee on Transparency in State Agency Operations, Select met in a public hearing and was called to order by the co-chair, Representative Dan Flynn, at 12:10 p.m.
The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Flynn; Gonzalez, Naomi; Johnson; Martinez Fischer; and Price.
A quorum was present.
The meeting began with opening remarks by Chairman Flynn.
Representative Martinez Fischer moved that Carol Longoria be compelled by subpoena to provide documents relevant to the investigation to the committee.

Representative Johnson moved that Dan Sharphorn be compelled by subpoena to provide documents relevant to the investigation to the committee.
