Pursuant to a notice posted on February 6, 2013, and permission granted on February 12, 2013 from the House floor for the committee to meet while the House is in session, the House Committee on Transportation met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Phillips, at 8:13 a.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Phillips; Martinez, "Mando"; Burkett; Davis, Yvonne; Fletcher; Guerra; Harper-Brown; Lavender; Pickett; and Riddle.

A quorum was present.

At 9:18 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was recessed until upon final adjournment.

The committee reconvened at 1:05 p.m. and was called to order by the chair, Representative Phillips.

The quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Phillips; Burkett; Fletcher; Lavender; and Pickett.
