Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 1, 2013, and permission granted on May 1, 2013, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Ways & Means met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Hilderbran, at 7:16 p.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Hilderbran; Otto; Button; Gonzalez, Naomi; and Ritter.

A quorum was present.

HB 500

The chair laid out HB 500.

The chair offered a complete committee substitute.

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

(Representative Bohac now present.)

Representative Ritter moved that HB 500, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

Ayes:                           Representatives Hilderbran; Otto; Bohac; Button; Gonzalez, Naomi; Ritter (6).

Nays:                           None (0).

Present, Not Voting:   None (0).

Absent:                        Representatives Eiland; Martinez Fischer; Strama (3).

At 7:18 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
