Pursuant to a notice posted in accordance with Senate Rule 11.10 and 11.18, a public hearing of the Senate Committee on Administration was held on Monday, March 18, 2013, in the E1.714.

The chair called the meeting to order at 10:59 AM. There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:

 

The chair laid out SCR 10 and recognized the author, Senator Seliger, to explain the bill.

 

Senator Hancock moved that SCR 10 be reported favorably to the Senate with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion carried with a record vote of 7 ayes, 0 nays, 0 present not voting, and 0 absent. Senator Hancock moved that the bill be recommended for placement on the Local & Uncontested Calendar; without objection, it was so ordered.

 

Senator Hancock moved that SCR 10 be certified for the Local and Uncontested Calendar to be held on Thursday, March 21, 2013 at 9:00 AM; without objection, it was so ordered.

 

The chair laid out the list of bills recommended for placement on the Local and Uncontested Calendar to be held on March 21, 2013, at 9:00 AM.

 

Senator Uresti moved that the list of bills recommended for placement on the Local and Uncontested Calendar to be held on March 21, 2013, at 9:00 AM be certified. The motion carried with a vote of 7 ayes, 0 nays, 0 absent, and 0 present not voting.

There being no further business, at 11:06 AM Senator Uresti moved that the Committee stand recessed subject to the call of the chair. Without objection, it was so ordered.
