Pursuant to a notice posted in accordance with Senate Rule 11.10 and 11.18, a public hearing of the Senate Committee on Administration was held on Monday, April 8, 2013, in the E1.714.

The chair called the meeting to order at 11:01 AM. There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:

The chair laid out SB 156 and recognized the author, Senator West, to explain the bill.

Senator Eltife moved that SB 156 be left pending; without objection, it was so ordered.

The chair laid out the list of bills recommended for placement on the Local and Uncontested Calendar to be held on April 11, 2013, at 8:30 AM. The committee recommended the removal of SB 33, SB 119, and SB 552.

Senator Uresti moved that the list of bills recommended for placement on the Local and Uncontested Calendar to be held on April 11, 2013, at 8:30 AM be certified. The motion carried with a vote of 6 ayes, 0 nays, 1 absent, and 0 present not voting.

There being no further business, at 11:20 AM Senator Eltife moved that the Committee stand recessed subject to the call of the chair. Without objection, it was so ordered.
