The chair called the meeting to order at 9:01 AM. There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:

 

The chair laid out HB 3209 and recognized the Senate sponsor, Senator Uresti, to explain the bill. HB 3209 was left pending.

 

The chair laid out HB 1256 and recognized the Senate sponsor, Senator Hegar, to explain the bill. HB 1256 was left pending.
