The chair called the meeting to order at 9:03 AM. The following business was transacted:
The chair laid out Senate Bill 1 as pending business.
Testimony was heard on Article II – Health and Human Services. Witnesses testifying and registering on the bill are shown on the attached list.
Health and Human Services Commission
Senator Hinojosa assumed the chair.
Senator Williams resumed the chair.
Senator Hinojosa assumed the chair.
At 10:53 AM Senator Hinojosa moved that the Committee stand recessed until 45 minutes after adjournment of the Senate. Without objection, it was so ordered.
At 1:58 PM the Committee reconvened. Senator Hinojosa continued to assume the chair.
Testimony continued on the Health and Human Services Commission
Senator Nelson assumed the chair.
Senator Hinojosa assumed the chair.
Department of Aging and Disability Services
Senator Williams resumed the chair.
Department of State Health Services
Public testimony was heard.
The chair moved that SB 1 be left pending; without objection, it was so ordered.
There being no further business, at 7:00 PM Senator Williams moved that the Committee stand recessed subject to the call of the chair. Without objection, it was so ordered.
