Pursuant to a notice posted in accordance with Senate Rule 11.10 and 11.18, a public hearing of the Senate Subcommittee on Natural Resources was held on Friday, September 19, 2014, in the Capitol Extension, Room E1.012, at Austin, Texas.

Senator Juan Hinojosa, Chair, called the meeting to order at 9:06 AM. There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted: Chairman Hinojosa thanked the members of the Senate Natural Resources Subcommittee for their attendance. The chair moved that the Natural Resources Subcommittee would follow the standing rules of the Natural Resources Committee. There being no objection, it was so ordered. The chair opened invited testimony. Please see attached witness list.
There being no further business, at 1:30 PM Senator Hinojosa moved that the Committee stand recessed subject to the call of the chair. Without objection, it was so ordered.
