Pursuant to Rule 1, Texas House Rules and pursuant to Rule 11.03, Texas Senate Rules, a public hearing of the Joint Committee on Oversight of Edwards Aquifer was held on Monday, September 15, 2014, in the Capitol Extension, Room E1.016, at Austin, Texas.

Co-Chair Senator Troy Fraser called the meeting to order at 1:02 PM.  The following business was transacted:

Co-Chair Senator Fraser and Co-chair Representative Miller made opening comments.  At 1:12 PM, the roll was called. A quorum was present.

The following panel of invited witnesses testified before the committee:

· Luana Buckner, Chairman, Edwards Aquifer Authority

· Roland Ruiz, General Manager, Edwards Aquifer Authority

· Mark Hamilton, Executive Director, Edwards Aquifer Authority

There being no further business, at 2:08 PM Senator Fraser moved that the Committee stand recessed subject to the call of the chair. Without objection, it was so ordered.
