Pursuant to Rule 1, Texas House Rules and pursuant to Rule 11.03, Texas Senate Rules, a public hearing of the Joint Committee on Water Desalination was held on Monday, June 30, 2014, in The Kemp Center for the Arts (Great Hall).

The Committee was joined by Representative James Frank.

Co-chair Senator Craig Estes called the meeting to order at 11:00 AM. There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:

Committee members provided opening remarks. Mayor Glenn Barham of Wichita Falls, Texas provided opening remarks.

Both invited witnesses and those testifying during the public testimony section of the hearing are shown on the attached list.

There being no further business, at 2:38 PM Senator Estes moved that the Committee be adjourned. Without objection, it was so ordered.
